Coming soon: diaphragm for Klipsch tweeters.
At the request of many customers we have decided to add diaphragms for Klipsch tweeters to our catalog. This diaphragm has a Ti membaan and a flat frequency response that continues (flat) to 22Khz. The diaphragm is especially suitable for the following klipsch speakers: K-79H, K100, K100-Ti, K-107-K, K124-K, K-124-Ti, RF-3, RF-3 II, etc.

Flat, angled? Flexibility?
After many requests we have decided to put more information about our surrounds in the shop. For all our surrounds ordered by size, we will add info about the surround is flat/angled and we will add a number to reflect the flexiblity of the surround. Putting all the data in the shop will take appr. one week.

An example:

Foam ring, 3 inch, for a unit with a cone size of 5,6 cm

The exact sizes of this ring are, in CM: 7,5 - 6,9 - 5,6 - 4,8.
This surround is angled.
The flexibility of this surround is indicated with number: 2. 

We offer this service to make making a choice more easy for our customers.

Possible delayed delivery around the 5th of november
Due to reorganising the mail processing at PostNL-centres in our region processing might be delayed from the 5th of november onwards. PostNL has assured us they will try to minimise any delays.

Higher cost PayPal payments
Because PayPal payments are much more expensive than bank payments for the receiving party, we are sorry to say we will pass on more costs of PayPal payments to our customers. The cost at the moment for you as a customer are EUR 0.35 plus 3.5% of the purchase price. This figure is still more than 20% below the costs passed on to us by PayPal.
If you want to use a free payment method use iDEAL (until now only available in the Netherlands, but soon a similar system will be available throughout the EU) or use bank transfer (with shared costs). These payment methods are completely free for you.

VAT goes to 21%
On the 1st of October, the VAT in the Netherlands will increase from 19% to 21%. This means that all items in our shop will be 1.68% more expensive from that date. All sales for October 1st still fall under the old tax rate of 19%.

New diaphragm for ElectroVoice arrived
The new diaphragms for Electro Voice arrived. This diaphragm is a replacement for 81256XX diaphragm, and has the following specifications:

This diaphragm has the same specifications as the original diaphragm, but is cheaper. It is now available.

Diaphragm for Selenium on order
Our ever expanding range of diaphragms will soon include a diaphragm for Selenium. Now that Selenium has become part of the JBL is a logical step for us to offer these diaphragms as well. We have a number of diaphragms on order to substitute the Selenium RPD210Ti:


It is a Titanium-diaphragm having a thickness of 0.03 mm, further specifications are:
- Voice coil: 44.4 mm
- Impedance (nominal) 8 ohms
- RDC: 6.3 Ohm
- Coil material: copper clad aluminum flat wire

Because of the recesses in the frame this diaphragm is very easy to install without soldering (click connectors). This diaphragm will be available in approximately 30 days.

Shipping & handling of dust-caps
Until now we offered dispatch of dust-caps only via parcelpost, this to ensure safe delivery without damage. Unfortunately, this service is very expensive, including the VAT over EUR 10, -. At the request of many customers we have decided to ship dust-caps also as standard mail. We have purchased this special packaging with a size of 12 x 12 x 2.7 cm to protect your items and offer cheaper shipping..
As long as you only buy dust covers, we can send these in the new 'small box' as a letter, unfortunately a limited number of dust-caps can be put in the in the new (small) boxes - the bigger the caps the less will fit in!
Once you purchase dust-caps as well as speaker surrounds using standard mail delivery will be very difficult. Most surrounds are too big for the new packaging. Therefore, we offer shipping of dust caps with surrounds exclusively via parcelpost.
Do you want an exception, for example because you buy surrounds smaller than 5 inches (those will fit the new box) along with dust caps, please contact us. We will make you a specific offer.

'Upgraded' diaphragm for JBL arrived
Our improved diaphragms for JBL 2412 tweeters and similar (JRX-series) have arrived. These have the same aperture / coil as the parts that we have so far offered, but are, in contrast to the other diaphragms, not covered with a plastic housing, but a metal housing. This makes the whole diaphragm resonance-free and therefore provides a slightly cleaner sound.

Today we have (at the request of some customers) received special foam edges for Altec Lansing 3154 and R3154 15" woofer . This foam edges are produced especially for us and are intended for 15" Altec woofers with a cone size of 30.5 cm.

New diaphragms on its way
Our range of foam and rubber edges is quite extensive and has been expanded in recent weeks, now we have some new diaphragms in order to repair JBL, Electro Voice, Foster, Yamaha and Fostex. All these aftermarket diaphragms are as good as the original, or even undergo some improvements on. More details in due course in the item descriptions. Soon for sale here ....

How secure is this website?
The last days we got many questions about the safety of our shop, especially since we do not use the HTTPS protocol (secured connection) . We can reassure you - the website is very secure. Firstly, on our servers, very little information is saved. What is stored in the data (name, address, items ordered, price) you also find in your order-confirmation. Once we have processed your order (usually within a day), the data is removed from the server and sotred 'local' in PDF format.
Once you pay it is a different story. Once you choose to pay via our website (iDEAL or PayPal), a new connection is established with your bank, this is a secure connection. This connection is as secure as your 'payment provider' makes it, this we have no influence on this.

Diaphragm to repair Behringer tweeter
The foto above shows a new Diaphragm in our selection - it's an aftermarket diaphragm for several titanium tweeters from Behringer with a 1,75 inch flat-wired voice coil. Besides this diaphragm there's five other new diaphragms in our range.

Shipping around the holidays
Because mailboxes have been secured around the hollidays (because of fireworks) we we have to offer our  parcels for shipment at the post office. Due to the holidays, we can therefore not send December 24 to 26, parts purchased during these days will be shipped Dec. 27. Items purchased on December 31 or New Year will be sent 2nd  januari 2012. We apologise for any inconvenience because of this.

Update:
The attack from the hackers comes from Romania. A large number of Dutch merchants were victims of the attack. The aim was likely to invade and take over the shop in order to receive the payments.

Because customers worldwide like our products, also our German customers, we have decided to translate all the texts and all the descriptions in German. This is someting not easily done though since there's over 1.500 (!!!) descriptions to be translated...... At the moment a selection of products is available with a German description. Our goal is to offer the whole range of products with a description in German early 2012.

New stock arrived - now more than 1.100 foam- and rubber surrounds in our shop
With te arrival of new stock we have expanded the number of different foam and rubber surrounds in our shop. The tot exceeds 1.100 by now and over the next few days the number will rise.
Because we were confronted with very long lists (e.g.: foam rings for Magnat: over 75 different rings) we have created sub-groups to make navigation more easy. Pls tell us whether you think the navigation has improved or not - you can use 'suggestions' in the main menu.

Surcharge for payments made through PayPal
For sellers PayPal is the most expensive way to receive money. Despite several requests PayPal has decided (according to their new terms and conditions) not to lower its prices - hence we have decided to put a €0,50 surcharge on payments made through PayPal. We are very sorry, but please be aware that out of a €18,99 sale PayPal will keep €0,90 for their services. Compared with other services (E.g.: international bank transfer: €0,07) this is very expensive. International bank transfer will remain free of charge.

Law on distant sales will be changed
The EU law on distant sales (applicable to sales through our website) will be changed. The major change is buyers are allowed to apply for a refund up to 14 days after receiving the items. At the moment buyers are entitled to a periode of 7 days - from the day of the sale. The EU is developing a standard form you can use to apply for the refund.
Please note: in order to receive the refund you must return the items undamaged. The costs for returning the items to us are for the buyer - according to our terms & conditions.
When this change will become effective we don't know yet - but we will allow refunds up to 14 days from delivery starting now.

Foam rings for Revac WR915 arrived
Finally our specially produced oval rings for the Revac WR915 speaker arrived. We currently have 90 rings in stock. Revac was an Italian brand which no longer exists. The unit is a very simple little speaker with carbon cone. A German HIFI genius developed this parts for car systems. They sounded so good that he used them also for his Home Hifi Boxes called "Aliens". His customers gave the box this name because of the strange looks. The technician is called Udo Petscher. He called his sound system "Holofeeling System".  Now we offer the opportunity to repair the oval mids of these units. Take a look:
